Manchester United can attain a new dimension in attack if they land Antoine Semenyo

Bournemouth reportedly wanted more than £70 million for Semenyo in the summer after giving him a new five-year contract in July. Some reports claim the fee could cross £75 million, almost seven times what Bournemouth paid in 2023.
It is absolutely a steep figure for United at this point after spending heavily on their attack this summer, and also needing strengthening in the defensive midfield and the goalkeeping position. They paid about £65 million for Bryan Mbeumo, which could rise to £71 million with bonuses. They also spent £62.5 million to sign Matheus Cunha. If the club goes on to spend another huge sum on Semenyo, it could stretch their budget.
Still, every club will be attracted to what the Ghana winger possesses in his armoury. The 25-year-old has displayed his pace, strength, and two-footed finishing while pressing hard and tracking back defensively. These are traits United’s wingers often miss.
