Manchester United are trying to lure Fiorentina star Moise Kean to M16 in the summer
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is looking to kickstart a new era at N17 following the disastrous Premier League campaign last season. The Portuguese tactician is aiming to compete hard in the domestic competitions, after missing out on European football altogether. With the fans expecting a better performance next season, the club’s hierarchy must address the issues on the pitch in the coming weeks.
The main issue on the pitch has been the attacking line. There were a lot of changes made to the forward line after Ruben Amorim was appointed as the head coach midway through the season. Marcus Rashford fell out with the ex-Sporting boss and was shipped out to Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the season. Antony was also loaned out to Real Betis until the summer after failing to impress the new manager.

Now, there are more movements expected up front as we approach the business-end of the transfer window. Rashford has returned to Carrington this week, but he is expected to leave the club on a permanent deal in the summer. The same goes for Rasmus Hojlund as well. The Dane is linked with a move to Italy after enduring a tough stint at M16.
Manchester United are interested in signing Fiorentina striker Moise Kean
There is no surprise that Manchester United are looking to add a new strike to their ranks for next season. With Rasmus Hojlund massively underperforming last season and Joshua Zirkzee failing to step up consistently, INEOS believe the timing is right to bring in a new number nine that could fill out the position up front instantly next season.
As per The Athletic (via X), the Red Devils are keeping tabs on Fiorentina striker Moise Kean in the summer. The Italy international has endured a strong individual campaign in the Serie A, and United have taken notice of that. It is also believed that the 25-year-old has a €52m release clause in his contract that can be triggered until 15th July.
Well, there is no doubt that some fans might be on the fence with these transfer links. Kean did not endure a good time the last time he was playing in the Premier League. The Italy international found the league tough and he looked out of place in an already-struggling Everton star. But it is also important to note that the prolific striker was still a youngster then, and he was trying to find his feet in a big club.
The Fiorentina star might just be what Manchester United are looking for in their new number nine. The 25-year-old has the ability to link-up play with the wide players, and he can also drop deep to make space for other teammates. His efficiency in front of goal is second to none, and Kean likes to dribble past players and create space from himself.

Signing the ex-Juventus star might just prove to be a masterstroke, as he could provide a different dynamic to the attack. With Mathues Cunha and Bruno Fernandes playing behind him as two ‘number tens’, the Italian is more than likely to get numerous chances each game to score a goal.
