Garnacho’s future at Manchester United is growing increasingly uncertain. Rubén Amorim does not view him as a key piece in his tactical puzzle, and those within the player’s camp are aware of the shift in priorities. Erik ten Hag, now at Bayer Leverkusen, is looking to take advantage of the situation. Leveraging his past relationship with the winger, he hopes to persuade Garnacho to join him in Germany. While Leverkusen are reportedly exploring a loan move, United are leaning toward a permanent sale.
From a practical standpoint, Manchester United have solid reasons to consider selling Garnacho, provided the offer is right. At the same time, letting go of one of the few players in the squad with natural flair and charisma could backfire. Should Garnacho thrive in Germany, media scrutiny and internal pressure could mount, particularly if United struggle creatively. That scenario may be underestimated. If Florian Wirtz departs, Leverkusen are expected to act swiftly, and Ten Hag will likely leverage his relationship with the player to push the deal over the line.
United must approach the situation with clarity. If they intend to sell, they should do so decisively and on their terms. If not, they must reintegrate Garnacho into the team and give him a clear role and purpose. The current state of limbo benefits no one and only risks further tension between the club, the player, and the fans.
