Revealed: 8 Manchester United players who are available for the right price

Manchester United are ready to sell several players, including Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw, Manuel Ugarte, Casemiro, Rasmus Hojlund, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee and Christian Eriksen. The Red Devils are planning a massive overhaul during the summer transfer window after enduring a dreadful Premier League campaign.

United sacked Erik ten Hag in the middle of the season and appointed Ruben Amorim after their season’s poor start. However, things remained the same under Amorim, who installed his preferred tactical style of play despite players’ failure to adjust.

United are currently 15th in the Premier League table at 39 points after suffering 16 losses so far this season. While United suffered with collapse, their arch-rivals, Liverpool, secured their 20th league title to rub more salt in the wounds.

Manchester United forwards Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have failed to establish themselves under Ruben Amorim. United could sell both Hojlund and Zirkzee alongside Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Matthijs de Ligt, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen.

With ongoing financial struggle due to frivolous spending of the past, United need to sell players before they can buy. As things stand, the Red Devils are willing to let go of many senior players to finance Amorim’s long-term project.

United could sacrifice some regular starters they would have kept if their financial conditions were better than they currently are. Furthermore, many surplus players would not procure the price they paid in the past, forcing United to make hard decisions.

According to the Mirror, United are ready to sell several players, including Mainoo, Ugarte, de Ligt, Hojlund, Casemiro and Shaw. Furthermore, Zirkzee and Eriksen are also part of the long list of players that the Red Devils want to sell.

Both Zirkzee and Hojlund have failed to establish themselves as the regular number nine under Amorim this season. Meanwhile, Shaw has continued to struggle with his fitness, while Eriksen has regressed further with age.

Casemiro has played a crucial role against Athletic Club in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal. Nevertheless, the Brazil captain’s wages are far more than what he delivers consistently for the club.

Under better financial circumstances, United would have preferred to keep their young prodigy Mainoo, along with De Ligt. As for Ugarte, the Uruguayan made his name under Amorim at Sporting CP before moving to Paris Saint-Germain, however, his limitations have exposed him at times in the Premier League.
