Wright believes that Rashford, alongside Alexander Isak, could form a deadly partnership for the Magpies.
“It’s the kind of signing Newcastle should be making. That would be amazing. That would be dangerous. Rashford at Newcastle? Yeah. That would be really good. I really like that for Rashford. Rashford at Newcastle can be dangerous.”
Rashford has scored four goals in 17 appearances for Aston Villa so far. Although Villa hold a £40 million clause to make the move permanent, Rashford may prefer to join a club competing in the UEFA Champions League, a factor that could heavily influence his decision.
