Juventus joins Inter Milan, Napoli and Atletico Madrid in the race to sign Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho next summer. The Red Devils have made the 20-year-old available for sale for the right price due to their continuous financial problems.
Under the right circumstances, United would not sell their youngsters, as it goes against the tradition that helped them succeed. Selling academy players with immense potential, who earned promotion to the senior team, is against the values of the club.
However, United need to raise funds by selling players before they can back their new manager, Ruben Amorim, next summer. The Red Devils have endured a disastrous campaign which included the mid-season sacking of Erik ten Hag after his failure.

United appointed Amorim, who immediately introduced his brand of football with a three-man defensive formation and a different playing style. However, the current squad has failed to adjust to the new demands of the former Sporting CP manager at United.
These players are operating under huge wages and cost United a lot in the transfer market, hurting the club’s finances. As the majority of the players lack resale value, United are forced to sell their young players with better value.
According to the Italian publication Tutto Juve, Juventus have joined Inter, Napoli and Atletico to sign United star Garnacho. United want more than €50m for the 20-year-old, a decent price for a player of Garnacho’s talent and age.
However, the Red Devils would hope that the high demand would help them extract a higher selling price. The Argentina international has struggled with inconsistency under Amorim as the Portuguese boss seeks short-term solutions.
