Manchester United willing to loan €50m star again to increase his value

Manchester United have moved on from Marcus Rashford despite his sensational on-loan performances for Aston Villa since the January window. Villa signed Rashford on a loan deal during January, and the Englishman has enjoyed a quick surge in his form.

Under Unai Emery, Rashford has played with more confidence and consistency, enjoying his football after two miserable seasons with United. The 27-year-old has struggled with consistency at United since earning a promotion to the senior team at a young age.

Under former manager Erik ten Hag’s first season, Rashford delivered a prolific season-long performance and earned a new lucrative contract. However, last season, the England international showed a sudden drop in form once again, which proved costly to the team.

Manchester United are willing to let Marcus Rashford go out on loan again after his Aston Villa stint.

That form continued this season until United sacked Ten Hag after enduring a disastrous start in the Premier League competition. The Red Devils are currently 14th in the Premier League, and even Amorim’s arrival failed to give them a boost.

However, Amorim’s application of playing his unique tactical style is another factor, as the current squad failed to adjust efficiently. The former Sporting CP boss has made quick decisions and allowed the likes of Rashford and Antony to leave immediately.

According to the Times (via Fichajes), United are willing to loan Rashford again for the 2025-26 campaign once his current loan with Villa ends. The 27-year-old is not part of Amorim’s project, and that stance has not changed at all.

Furthermore, Rashford’s salary could prove too much for Emery’s Villa to secure a permanent deal with the Red Devils. At the same time, United are not willing to let Rashford go for a price below his current market valuation.
