Manchester United was certainly one of the most active clubs in the transfer season this year. Recruiting a few players on both offence and defense, Ten Hag still has eyes on a few talents. As the management and scouts are still hunting, there’s new transfer news that has come to light.
Vanderson is being noticed by some elite English Clubs
The Monaco right-back Vanderson de Oliveira Campos has surely turned heads with his performances in Ligue 1 over time. While there were rumors of him leaving around summer, no solid deal could be done. In the latest update of him finding a new home, Manchester United will look to sign the Brazilian in the coming window according to Caughtoffside. Moreover, the Red Devils aren’t the only English clubs interested in him. Chelsea and Tottenham have raised their interest looking for a new recruit too.
Vanderson who currently earns €57,692 per week according to his contract is in for a big upgrade. The fullback made his professional debut back in 2020 and has made 100 appearances for club and country since then. It is being speculated that Monaco will ask around €30 million for the fullback if they decide to let them go in January.

This will be the second fullback Ten Hag will sign after Noussair Mazraoui. The Moroccan who was brought in £17.2 million currently faces no competition after the departure of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Not only does the arrival of Vanderson can add some depth to the defense, but it’ll be good to see the two players work for their spot. The chances of Vanderson arriving at Old Trafford are narrow with other clubs competing. However, the addition of the pacy fullback will be an impactful addition to United’s guard.
