Manchester United outcast, Mason Greenwood could be heading to Serie A
As reported by The Sun, Manchester United outcast, Mason Greenwood will most likely be heading to Serie A giants, Juventus this summer. The Italian side has sent numerous scouts to observe the 22-year-old during his time at Getafe.
It is being reported that the scouts only had good things to say and the belief is that Greenwood would have no difficulties adjusting to the Serie A. So, Juventus could most likely spring at a chance to get a deal done.
However, Greenwood’s stellar performances have not gone unnoticed and he is wanted by a number of clubs. The 22-year-old made 36 appearances for Getafe this season recording 10 goals and six assists.
Greenwood himself would’ve liked to head to Barcelona, as reported by Marca. However, that seems impossible for him now that Xavi Hernandez has been relieved of his duties at Barca. In other news, even Borussia Dortmund have been linked to the 22-year-old.
With all these teams showing interest, the new owners can pick and choose who they wish to sell Greenwood to. However, one thing is for sure, the English winger does not have a future at Old Trafford.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team will be actively shopping Mason Greenwood this summer and the highest bidder will get to keep him. The money raised through a sale for the winger will be reinvested into the squad.
