West Ham United interested in Manchester United forward Amad Diallo
Premier League rivals West Ham United are interested in acquiring the services of Manchester United star Amad Diallo, according to The Northern Echo.
The Hammers are looking at a squad overhaul in the upcoming transfer window after struggling in the league this season. Declan Rice, the Irons captain, is also expected to part ways with them in the coming weeks.
As things stand, David Moyes’ team are planning to make an approach to take the Ivory Coast international to the London Stadium on loan this summer.
However, apart from West Ham, in the English top flight, the likes of Everton and Burnley also have the 20-year-old on their radar. It remains to be seen what the future will hold for the youngster.
Amad spent the 2022/23 campaign on a temporary move to Sunderland. The Ivorian thrived at Black Cats and was a hero for them during their Championship campaign.
But the Stadium of Light side were unable to get past the semi-finals of the playoffs. While they are also eyeing another loan spell for the 20-year-old, they can only offer him minutes in the second tier of English football.
United signed Antony last summer from Ajax Amsterdam. The Brazilian has been ever-present in the Red Devils starting lineup since reuniting with Erik ten Hag.
However, Jadon Sancho has been underwhelming for some time now, while the gaffer does not seem to trust Anthony Elanga and Facundo Pellistri in the team.

Therefore, we could evidently do with someone like Amad to add depth to our forward line. However, if a team can guarantee the Ivorian regular game time in the PL, then it would not be a bad idea to send the 20-year-old out on a temporary move for the 2023/24 campaign.
