Harry Kane eyeing Manchester United move from Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane is eyeing a move to Manchester United from the North London side in the upcoming transfer window, according to The Sun.

The Old Trafford side are seen as the only viable option for the England international as things stand. Arsenal and Chelsea have been ruled out by the striker due to their rivalry with Spurs.

On the other hand, Newcastle United are not expected to spend a considerable sum on the 29-year-old. Manchester City and Liverpool are also not in the market for a number nine as things stand.

Tottenham are open to listening to offers from outside the Premier League, with Bayern Munich keen on Kane. However, the English skipper has no intention of leaving the English top flight.

To that end, the striker wants to make a switch to the Old Trafford side next summer. If the move is denied by Daniel Levy, then the 29-year-old will run down his contract at the North London side, which is set to expire in the summer of 2024.

Kane has been one of the best players in the world over the last few years. However, at Spurs, the England international has not found any success in terms of team trophies. The Lilywhites will also not be playing in Europe next season.

As for United, Erik ten Hag has guided us to a Champions League spot in the current campaign. But the gaffer has had to rely on Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst as his only two natural strikers over the last few months.

Unfortunately, the French national has constantly been on the sidelines this season. As for the former Wolfsburg forward, he has left a lot to be desired with his contribution in the final third of the pitch.

Kane has proven himself to be a prolific goalscorer in the PL. We could evidently do with someone of the 29-year-old’s quality in our ranks. But will the English national be allowed to join the Old Trafford side from Tottenham? It remains to be seen.
