Feyenoord ‘keen’ on Manchester United forward Amad Diallo
Eredivisie champions Feyenoord are ‘keen’ on acquiring the services of Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo ahead of next summer, according to 1908.nl via Sunderland Echo (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Ivory Coast international joined Sunderland on a season-long loan in the summer of 2022. Throughout the campaign, the forward has caught a lot of people’s attention.
To that end, he has once again popped up on the Dutch outfit’s radar. The Rotterdam-based club were looking to sign the 20-year-old from the Red Devils back in August 2021 as well. However, in the end, a deal could not materialise due to an injury.
Amad made his way to the Old Trafford side from Atalanta a few months back. However, the Ivorian has found game time hard to come by at the Manchester-based club over the years.
After a failed loan spell at Rangers, thankfully, the youngster has managed to thrive at Sunderland. The Black Cats had made it to the semi-finals of the Championship play-offs. But the Tyne and Wear-based club lost to Luton Town.
As for Feyenoord, Arne Slot has turned them into a force to be reckoned with in the Netherlands. They have won the Eredivisie title resoundingly this season.

United’s front line was bolstered over the past two transfer windows with Antony and Wout Weghorst. The Brazilian has showcased glimpses of his talent at the Old Trafford side. However, it does not look like Erik ten Hag trusts Anthony Elanga and Facundo Pellistri as the backups.
As a result, the former Ajax forward has been relied on by the gaffer for most of the season. Although in his absence, the Dutch manager also has Jadon Sancho at his disposal.

Therefore, considering Amad’s displays at Sunderland, he seems like a good option to have in the squad for next season. However, it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils believe another temporary move will help in the forward’s development.
