Eintracht Frankfurt want more than €90 million for Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani

Axel Hellmann, the CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt, has revealed that they want more than €90 million for Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani.

There is a lot of speculation regarding the France international’s future ahead of next summer. Along with the Red Devils, Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are being linked with him.

But speaking to BILD via Sports Mole (h/t Manchester Evening News), Hellmann expects to get a considerable fee for the 24-year-old. However, the Bundesliga side would rather keep a hold of the striker for another season.

“When I look at the international market, I imagine a different number than €90million. More than this! He has a long-term deal. My absolutely ideal scenario would be that he stays with Eintracht.”

Kolo Muani made his way to Frankfurt in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer. The French national has surprised many in Germany and has caught a lot of people’s attention with his displays in the current campaign.

As a result, there is plenty of interest in his signature. The 24-year-old has made 42 appearances in all competitions for Die Adler, scoring 21 goals and providing 15 assists.

The French national also shone for Didier Deschamps’ team in the 2022 World Cup. Now, the striker has established himself on Les Bleus’ senior squad.

United are eyeing a new number nine in the upcoming transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane the main target. However, the Red Devils have other names on their shortlist as well.

For now, Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst are the only two natural strikers at Erik ten Hag’s disposal. However, the gaffer has been unable to count on the two for different reasons.

This season, apart from Marcus Rashford, our other forwards have failed to find the back of the net on a consistent basis. Therefore, we evidently need a prolific centre-forward in our team. But it remains to be seen whether the Old Trafford side will be able to strike a deal with Frankfurt for Kolo Muani in the coming months.
