Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo, who is currently on loan at Sunderland, is going to be sent on another temporary move next season, according to The Sun (h/t Manchester Evening News).

The Ivory Coast international joined the Black Cats in the summer of 2022. He has thrived at the Stadium of Light and the Red Devils could opt to let him develop elsewhere once again in the upcoming campaign.

However, this time around, the 20-year-old could be sent abroad to give him even more experience and time to grow as a player. The Netherlands could be a potential destination for the forward.

Amad made his way to the Old Trafford side in January 2021 from Atalanta. In the youngster’s first few months at the club, he was handed a few opportunities.

But the 2021/22 season saw the Ivorian fail to make a place for himself at United and subsequently join Rangers in the winter window. Unfortunately, the forward’s stint in Scotland was a bit underwhelming.

Thankfully, at Sunderland, the 20-year-old has been able to find his feet. He has made 39 appearances in all competitions for Tony Mowbray’s team, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists.

At the Old Trafford side, Antony has been the preferred option on the left wing, while Marcus Rashford has thrived on the right. The Red Devils also have the likes of Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho in their ranks.

Erik ten Hag bolstered the squad last summer by signing a few players from his former club Ajax. In the Netherlands, the Dutch manager thrived and built a pedigree for developing promising stars.

The Eredivisie has been feeding a host of talent to other top leagues around Europe for many years now. Hopefully, if Amad signs for a side in Holland, he will be able to unlock his full potential.
