Borussia Dortmund ‘in contact’ with agent of Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho
Sebastian Kehl, the sporting director of Borussia Dortmund, is in constant contact with the agency of Manchester United star Jadon Sancho, according to Bild (h/t Express).
The England international signed for the Red Devils in the summer of 2021 from BVB. However, a return to the Signal Iduna Park side has not been ruled out yet ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Next summer, the forward’s departure could be used to facilitate other operations. To that end, the 23-year-old making his way back to BVB in the coming months is not off the table.
Sancho made a name for himself at Dortmund. Having joined the Bundesliga giants from Manchester City, the England international honed and developed his skills in Germany.
Subsequently, United opted to bring the winger back to Manchester. But things have not gone smoothly for the 23-year-old at the Old Trafford side over the last two seasons.
Sancho’s arrival was met with a lot of fanfare and there were a lot of expectations from the forward. However, the English national has been unable to replicate the form he showed at the Signal Iduna Park side.
The Bundesliga giants are yet to hold talks with the 23-year-old’s camp over a switch to BVB. But any move will be on loan due to his valuation. Dortmund have the likes of Donyell Malen and Karim Adeyemi in their ranks, who have played on the wings in the current campaign.
Erik ten Hag has relied on Antony on the right wing, while Marcus Rashford has featured heavily on the left-hand side of the attack. Alejandro Garnacho has also broken onto the scene.

Sancho has been deployed in the number 10 role on occasions by the gaffer. The England international has played better for United in recent weeks. However, it remains to be seen whether we will part ways with the 23-year-old in the coming months.
