Bayern Munich intend to keep Ryan Gravenberch amidst Manchester United interest
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have no ‘intention’ of parting ways with Ryan Gravenberch amidst interest from Manchester United, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
As per a recent report by 90min (h/t Manchester Evening News), the Red Devils are one of the clubs monitoring the Holland international’s situation at the Allianz Arena side.
However, the Bavarians want to keep a hold of the 20-year-old next summer. Next month, the midfielder’s camp will meet with the German outfit. He wants more game time.
There is interest from within the Premier League in Gravenberch. Apart from the Old Trafford side, Liverpool also have the youngster on their radar.
The Holland international joined Bayern from Ajax last summer. However, the midfielder has struggled to settle in at the Allianz Arena side.
In the current campaign, he has not been handed regular minutes at the Bundesliga giants. While the 20-year-old has made 28 appearances in all competitions for the German outfit, scoring one goal and providing one assist, he has only started in one league game.
United’s engine room evidently lacks strength in depth. We had to sign Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern in January to add numbers to our midfield ranks. The Austrian will return to Germany at the end of the campaign.
Fred and Scott McTominay are the other stars at Erik ten Hag’s disposal. However, in our last fixture against Tottenham Hotspur, the Brazilian came off the bench and put in an abysmal display as we lost a two-goal lead.

Therefore, we could seemingly do with a player like Gravenberch in our ranks. The Holland international has previously thrived under Erik ten Hag at Ajax. Will the midfielder want to reunite with the Dutch manager in Manchester? Only time will tell.
