Inter Milan eyeing Manchester United duo Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial
Serie A giants Inter Milan are eyeing a swoop for Manchester United duo Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial next summer, according to Inter Live (h/t Manchester Evening News).
However, the Sweden international is a more realistic target for the Nerazzurri. The former AS Monaco forward’s big wages make him a bit difficult to acquire for the Italian outfit. However, the Red Devils could get a combined figure of £30 million for the two.
Lindelof is seen as a replacement for Milan Skriniar. The Slovakia international’s current contract with the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza side is set to expire at the end of the season and the 28-year-old is set to leave.
As a result, Inter are expected to make an early offer for the defender in the upcoming transfer window. The 28-year-old is going to assess his options at the end of the season, having lost a place in the Old Trafford side’s starting lineup.
The Swedish national signed for United in the summer of 2017 from SL Benfica. Over the years, the centre-back had been a regular member of the first team. But with Erik ten Hag’s arrival, he has turned into a bit-part player.
Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have been the gaffer’s preferred duo in the backline in the current campaign. The two have formed a solid partnership, subsequently relegating Harry Maguire to the bench as well.
Inter are interested in Martial. The Old Trafford side are set to put the French national up for sale in the coming months. However, it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri will pursue his signature.
The 27-year-old has managed to do well under the former Ajax head coach. Unfortunately, the striker has not been available on a regular basis in the current campaign due to fitness issues.

It would not be a surprise to see Lindelof angling for a move in the upcoming transfer window due to a lack of opportunities. However, will Martial also want to part ways with the Manchester-based club? Only time will tell.
