Bayern Munich and PSG willing to ‘break in’ on deal for Manchester United target Victor Osimhen
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and French champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are willing to ‘break in’ on a deal for Manchester United target Victor Osimhen, according to Calcio Mercato (h/t Manchester Evening News)
The Red Devils will have to compete with the Bavarians and Parc des Princes side for the signature of the Napoli striker. In the upcoming transfer window, the Nigerian is one of the players being considered by the Old Trafford side.
Erik ten Hag has the 24-year-old on the list of potential number nines for next summer. The Manchester-based club see the former LOSC Lille star as a ‘dream signing’.

Osimhen has been in fine form this season. The Partenopei are flying high in Serie A, on course to win their first Scudetto in over 30 years. The Italian outfit have also shone in the Champions League.
The Nigerian has been pivotal to Luciano Spalletti’s team’s success in the current campaign. He has found the back of the net 21 times and has provided four assists in 26 outings for the Naples-based club.
At the moment, Bayern have the likes of Sadio Mane, Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in their attacking ranks. However, the Bundesliga giants have seemingly not replaced Robert Lewandowski, who joined Barcelona last summer.
On the other hand, PSG have a stacked frontline. Christophe Galtier can rely on the trio of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. However, the three have struggled to take the UCL trophy to Paris.
As for United, Erik ten Hag only has two natural strikers at his disposal at the moment—Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst. However, the Dutch manager has been unable to rely on them for goals this season.
