Crystal Palace ‘exploring’ return of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United
Premier League rivals Crystal Palace are ‘exploring’ conditions for the return of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to South London from Manchester United, according to Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Eagles are considering getting a hold of the 25-year-old’s signature in the upcoming transfer window. A sensational return to the Selhurst park Stadium side could be on the cards for the English national, with a deal being explored.
Wan-Bissaka made his move to the Old Trafford side from Palace in the summer of 2019. Initially, the 25-year-old was the first name on the team sheet for the Red Devils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put faith in the England U21 international and trusted him week in, week out. However, while the right-back has been impressive defensively, he leaves a lot to be desired in the final third.
With the departure of the Norwegian head coach, Ralf Rangnick was appointed in the Manchester-based club’s dugout. The former interim manager gave Diogo Dalot a run in the team.
The Portugal international did a decent job last season. Subsequently, the 23-year-old also became a regular under Erik ten Hag. The former FC Porto star has been brilliant on most occasions in the current campaign.
7 – Despite only coming on at half-time, Aaron Wan-Bissaka made the most tackles of any player (7 in 45 minutes). This is the most tackles in a League Cup final since N'Golo Kanté for Chelsea in 2019 (7 in 120 minutes). Lockdown. #CarabaoCupFinal pic.twitter.com/amuqXTlXrh

Dalot has started in the majority of the fixtures for the Dutch manager at United. The 23-year-old has made 28 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
However, in recent weeks, with the Portuguese full-back’s absence, Wan-Bissaka has deputised in the defence. The 25-year-old has put in an admirable shift in the last few matches.

But the English national will evidently not want to be a bit-part player. Although being a backup at a club like the Old Trafford side is not something to scoff at, it remains to be seen whether a return to Palace will entice Wan-Bissaka.
