Manchester United make a proposal to Alejandor Garnacho over new contract

Manchester United have made their new contract proposal to Alejandro Garnacho to extend his stay at the Old Trafford side, according to transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the Red Devils are in advanced talks with the Argentine national over securing his future. The Manchester-based club are still finalising some details of the new deal.

“Keep an eye on new contract also for Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho because Man United have made their propsal to Alejandro Garacho.

“Conversations are going with Alejandro Garnacho to extend his contract, advanced conversations. They are discussing the salary and of course the length of the contract, and I understand that it should be until June 2028. United are actively working on it.”

Grancho’s representatives see their client as the face of United’s present and future. Erik ten Hag is also delighted with the 18-year-old. The Red Devils believe the youngster has immense talent and are keen on keeping hold of him.

There have been rumours of Serie A giants Juventus and other clubs being interested in the Argentine national. However, the player’s priority is to negotiate with the Old Trafford side and sign a new contract as soon as possible.

United signed Garnacho in the summer of 2020 from Atletico Madrid. Over the years, the youngster had thrived in the Red Devils’ youth sides.

However, the Argentine national has broken into the first team under the Dutch manager. Initially, he had found opportunities hard to come by.

But since the 18-year-old’s full debut for the Old Trafford side against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League group stage match at home, the forward has made his way into Ten Hag’s plans.

Garnacho has put in some clutch performances coming off from the bench in recent months. In our previous game against Leeds United at Elland Road, the 18-year-old got on the scoresheet having been subbed in at the hour mark.
