Croatian star Lovro Majer on Manchester United radar
According to a report by Jeunes Footeux (h/t Manchester Evening News), Croatian star Lovro Majer is on the radar of Manchester United and the English club could make a move for him in January.
Majer who plays for Rennes in the French league is someone Man United appreciate. He could be an option for Erik ten Hag to reinforce his options in midfield and a January move for him is touted as a possibility.
The former Dinamo Zagreb man joined Rennes in 2021. He has since then impressed with the French club and it comes as no surprise that he is being linked with a move to a bigger club right now.

Majer has a contract with the Ligue 1 club that expires in 2027 (Transfermarkt). If Man United are interested in him, there is no doubt that Rennes are going to make life as difficult as possible for us to sign the player.
In 24 games for Rennes across all competitions this season, Majer has scored two goals and provided three assists. However, numbers don’t paint the whole picture when it comes to how the Croatian performs on the pitch.
Predominantly an attacking midfielder, Majer can also play as a central midfielder in a box-to-box role although he is more attacking than defensive in nature. He could be the perfect backup to Christian Eriksen should the Dane need some rest.

Man United’s first-choice midfield is pretty much set in stone for the rest of the season. The trio of Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes and Eriksen are likely to start every single game but Erik ten Hag does need rotational options.
The season-long injury to Donny van de Beek means Man United can do with another player in that position. It remains to be seen who they go for although Majer has emerged as one of the interesting options.
