PSG eyeing move for £30 million-rated Manchester United and Brazil star Fred
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are eyeing a move for Manchester United and Brazil star Fred, with the Red Devils valuing the midfielder at £30 million, according to The Sun.
The Old Trafford side recently extended the 29-year-old’s soon-to-be-expiring contract by a further season. As a result, the club have ensured that they can cash in on him.
PSG are interested in Fred. The French champions are looking to bolster their middle-of-the-park with the addition of the Brazil international. Neymar and Marquinhos, the 29-year-old’s compatriots, are at the Parc des Princes.
Christophe Galtier has one of the best midfielders in the world in Marco Verratti to count on. The Parisians also signed Vitinha, Carlos Soler, Fabian Ruiz and Renato Sanches in the recent transfer window. Danilo Pereira is also at the club.
Erik ten Hag has a lot of appreciation for Fred. The Dutch manager has been impressed by the Brazilian’s attitude even though he has not played a lot of minutes in the current campaign.
The 29-year-old has started just four games in the Premier League for United this season. In our previous match against Burnley in the Carabao Cup, the midfielder was brought on for the final few minutes of the game.

Casemiro and Christian Eriksen have been the ones Ten Hag has relied on in the current camping. The Danish and Brazilian duo have been impressive under the Dutch manager.
Fred, on the other hand, has struggled to cement his place in the team. The 29-year-old has failed to convince since signing for the Old Trafford side in the summer of 2018 from Shakhtar Donetsk.

While the Brazilian does bring industry to the side, he leaves a lot to be desired in other departments. If PSG offer decent money for the midfielder, we should consider parting ways with him.
