Dusan Vlahovic open to winter or summer Juventus exit amidst interest from Manchester United
Manchester United target Dusan Vlahovic is open to leaving Juventus in the upcoming transfer window or the summer of 2023, according to The Times (h/t Metro).
The Old Lady are currently under scrutiny. Their entire board of directors resigned from their posts, with the club under investigation for false accounting. As a result, the future of a number of players at the Serie A outfit is uncertain.
Erik ten Hag is keen on signing a forward in January. Cristiano Ronaldo departed the club just before the start of the 2022 World Cup. As a result, the Dutch manager’s options up front have been reduced.
Anthony Martial is the only natural striker at the Dutch manager’s disposal at the moment. Apart from the France international, Marcus Rashford has also played in the number nine position in the current campaign.
Arsenal are also eyeing Vlahovic’s signature. Mikel Arteta has lost Gabriel Jesus for some time after he underwent knee surgery. Now the Gunners only have Eddie Nketiah, who was the backup to the Brazil international.
The Serbia international joined Juventus in the winter window of 2022 from Fiorentina. His performances with the Viola compelled the Serie A giants to sign the striker.
However, Massimiliano Allegri’s team have not had the best of seasons. They were knocked out of the group stages in the Champions League and currently sit eighth in the Italian top flight.
Vlahovic has run hot and cold during his time in Turin. In the current campaign, the Serbian has scored seven goals and has provided two assists in 15 appearances in all competitions.

The 22-year-old is an out-and-out goalscorer with a keen eye for goals. With Ronaldo’s departure, United evidently need a new number nine. However, will the Juventus star make his way to Old Trafford in the coming future? Only time will tell.
