Serie A giants Inter Milan are open to selling the Netherlands international Denzel Dumfries amidst interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, according to Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews and Sempre Inter (h/t Manchester Evening News).

The 26-year-old has been constantly linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams. His performances at the World Cup under Louis van Gaal have reignited talks of a move to England in the upcoming transfer window.

With interest from several top sides, the Nerazzurri are hoping Dumfries’ price tag increases. The Italian outfit will let him go for the right price. However, the 26-year-old might have to wait until the summer to get his move.

Graham Potter’s team currently boasts one of the best full-backs in the world in Reece James. However, the England international has had his injury issues over the years. Cesar Azpilicueta is the one backing up the 23-year-old. However, the Spaniard is in the final years of his career.

The Bavarians recently signed Morocco star Noussair Mazraoui to bolster their right-back spot. France international Benjamin Pavard is another option Julian Nagelsmann can count on.

As for United, Diogo Dalot has been the first choice under Erik ten Hag. The Portugal international has started in the majority of the games for the Red Devils this season.

However, there has been no suitable backup for the 23-year-old. The Dutch manager does not seem to count on Aaron Wan-Bissaka. As a result, the former FC Porto star has shouldered the majority of the burden in the current campaign.

Thus, the Old Trafford side evidently need to add competition for the right-back spot in the squad. Dalot cannot be expected to play every minute of the remaining season.
