Bryan Robson warns Manchester United target Jude Bellingham could be worth “double” after World Cup with England
Manchester United icon Bryan Robson has warned Manchester United that Jude Bellingham could be worth double his £100 million price tag after the World Cup with England.
The Red Devils are among the hosts of clubs looking to get a hold of the 19-year-old’s signature. Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City, alongside European champions Real Madrid, are eyeing the midfielder.
Writing in his Daily Mail column (h/t Express), Robson, who played as a midfielder for United for 13 years, suggested that Borussia Dortmund could demand a mammoth sum for Bellingham.

“Jude Bellingham was being talked about as a £100m player before this World Cup, and we could be looking at Borussia Dortmund asking double that by the summer.
“No matter the price, they will not be short of takers. Every time I see Bellingham, he impresses me. This can be his stage to prove himself a world-class performer.”
The 19-year-old made his way to the Bundesliga outfit in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City. And since his move to Germany, the England international has turned into one of the best midfielders in world football.
Bellingham has evidently taken his game to the next level in the current campaign. He has showcased his abilities at the highest level against Manchester City in the Champions League.
The 19-year-old also seems to have leadership abilities. BVB manager Edin Terzic has handed the midfielder the captain’s armband on a few occasions for the Bundesliga giants.
Bellingham is also part of Gareth Southgate’s 26-man World Cup squad. And in the Three Lions’ first encounter against Iran in Group B, the 19-year-old scored the opening goal as England won 6-2.
United’s midfield options were bolstered in the recent transfer window with the inclusion of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. And while the two have been immense in the starting lineup, their absence is often felt when the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay deputise.
