Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham not keen on Chelsea amidst Manchester United interest
Jude Bellingham, who Manchester United are interested in, is not keen on a move to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund, according to TEAMtalk (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Blues have been ruled out of the race for the 19-year-old’s signature, with several clubs in the running. The England international is expected to leave BVB next summer. And the Red Devils have long since kept an eye on him.
The Old Trafford side pursued Bellingham before his move to the Bundesliga giants. And some fans will hope the midfielder makes his way to the Manchester-based club in the near future.
However, United are not the only side longing for his signature. Liverpool and Manchester City from the Premier League and European champions Real Madrid are looking to sign the 19-year-old.
The England international is expected by many to be a key figure for Gareth Southgate in Qatar. The Three Lions will be looking to lift just their second World Cup in the Middle East later this year.
Bellingham has been in fine form for Dortmund in the current campaign. The midfielder’s displays in the Champions League this season have turned many heads. He has also been handed the captain’s armband on a few occasions by Edin Terzic.
United bolstered their engine room in the recent transfer window with the additions of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro. The two have made an immediate impact in the starting lineup for us.
Erik ten Hag has done well to turn things around a bit with the Red Devils. However, there have still been games where we have been overrun in the middle of the park.
