Erik ten Hag will be given at least £70 million to spend at Manchester United in the January window

Manchester United will give Erik ten Hag at least £70 million to spend in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. And the budget could increase if Cristiano Ronaldo were to leave the club.

During the winter, the Dutch manager will be given more money to bolster his squad. And the budget could also reach £100 million if our Portuguese number seven still decides to part ways. The 37-year-old has been angling for a move away to play Champions League football.

The Glazers are set to back Ten Hag in his quest to improve the squad. The Dutch manager feels the side can get back to competing with the best with three new first-team players.

United spent big money in the recent transfer window. The Red Devils brought six fresh faces. Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez joined United early in the summer.

United’s impactful signings

The trio have made an immediate impact in the side. The addition of the defenders has led to our defensive performances improving over the last few weeks.

Eriksen has also slotted straight into the starting lineup. The Danish national has been brilliant for the team. The 30-year-old made the number eight position his own.

Casemiro made his way to Old Trafford from Real Madrid for £70 million. The Brazilian’s United career has not gotten off to the best of starts. However, he comes with a vast reputation.

Antony was the one the Old Trafford side spent the most on this summer. The Brazilian arrived for £85 million from Ajax. And it did not take long for the 22-year-old to make a mark in a red shirt. The winger started against Arsenal and scored on his debut.

Ten Hag has evidently made astute additions to the team. The gaffer has brought in some players familiar with his style of play. And the results have shown in the Premier League as we have gone on a four-game win streak. Whether United end up spending the money in January remains to be seen.
