Marcus Rashford reacts to Manchester Utd win over Arsenal
Marcus Rashford scored a double against Arsenal secured a fourth consecutive win for Manchester United in the Premier League and has put the Reds just three points behind current league leaders.
Manchester United have seen a sudden rise in form after the initial dismal start to the season and entered the fixture with three consecutive wins in a row.
Arsenal, on the other hand, were the clear favourites coming into the game having seen an unbeaten run of five wins and sat atop the league with 15 points.
We started the game impressively and with some good fortune coming from a Gabriel Martinelli disallowed goal, we deservedly took the lead with debutant Antony getting on the scoresheet after a fluid exchange between the front three.
Arsenal eventually equalised with a goal from Bukayo Saka but Marcus Rashford was quick to shift the tense affair in our favour and deservedly got his goal after a sublime pass from Bruno Fernandes.
Arsenal’s defence was getting exposed due to their high line and with a view to reducing the deficit, the team was leaving spaces behind and thus letting its defence exposed and Marcus Rashford deservedly took full advantage of it.
With two goals and an assist, Marcus Rashford looks back to his very best, oddly against a club where he first announced himself on the big stage and speaking to Sky Sports (h/t Independent)post the win over Arsenal, the Manchester United was full of praise for the team effort.
“It was a big test for us today. We showed up and stood up to the challenge. We can be proud of ourselves. It is good to get into a rhythm.”

Marcus Rashford had an impressive pre-season and has looked sharp since the season started. He played an influential part in our win over Liverpool and has gotten accustomed to playing as a central attacker ever since Anthony Martial has been injured.
Rashford has shown his value to the club numerous times and tonight was another such occasion. He is clearly central to Erik Ten Hag’s plans moving forward and we can be hopeful that his fine form continues when we travel to our next away fixture against Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace.
