Casemiro was a product of SaO Paulo’s youth system from a very young age. Ever since he has shown traits of leadership and was a club captain for all his sides from the age of 11. The Brazilian made his debut on 25th July 2010 against Santos. He scored his first goal on 15th August, of the same year.
In January 2013, Casemiro joined Real Madrid’s reserve team in the Segunda division on a loan transfer. He made his La Liga debut on 20 April 2013. At the end of the season, his loan move was made permanent and the Brazilian joined Los Blancos on a four-year deal.
The Brazilian midfielder was loaned out to Porto in 2014 for a season. He played 41 times for the Portuguese side scoring four goals. He returned to Real Madrid in 2015 after the Spanish club activated his buy-back clause.
After being a reserve player for Rafael Benitez, Casemiro truly broke into the limelight under Zinedine Zidane and has since then not looked back. He has become a vital cog for all the Los Blancos managers since and has been a part of a deadly midfield.
