Bruno Fernandes showers praise on three Manchester United stars
Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has hailed Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Anthony Martial for their improvement under Erik Ten Hag. The Red Devils raced to their third preseason win after putting on an impressive display against Crystal Palace.
These preseason games would sound like any other practice matches, but looks like the Red side of Manchester has decided not to take these games lightly. The team has been playing as a unit, pressing higher, creating spaces, passing effortlessly, and keeping possession.
But, three of those players have been busy up front and have been banging goals for fun. Anthony Martial has grabbed the headlines for scoring again in the 3-1 win over Palace. Jadon Sancho’s movements were a joy to watch and Marcus Rashford’s skills kept the fans on their feet.

Unsurprisingly all the three attackers scored a goal each in a match that turned out to be another easy stroll through the park for the Reds. Speaking in a post-match interview with MUTV, Bruno Fernandes was pretty impressed by the trio’s aggression in attack. He said:
“I think we have been much more aggressive, firstly the three guys up front have been really aggressive, when they press they really press, really strong to squeeze the last line and make the midfielder come a little bit higher.”
Manchester United’s possession-based football has been a key talking point throughout the tour. The players look as if they are enjoying their football again and it would still feel that they can improve further.

The last time the Red Devils were able to see their attacking trio score belters was in the 2019/20 campaign where Mason Greenwood, Martial and Rashford created mayhem almost every weekend.
