Juventus star Adrien Rabiot plan to rejoin PSG amidst Manchester United interest
According to the Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport via Get Italian Football News on Twitter (h/t Football.London), Juventus star Adrien Rabiot is looking to rejoin PSG this summer amidst interest from Manchester United for a potential move. He has been linked with an exit from Allianz Stadium, which could be in line to happen ahead of the next season.
Rabiot’s future with Juve is up in the air, which has prompted his agent, who is also his mother, to assess the future options. She is considering facilitating a reunion at Paris Saint-Germain after failing to see their time in Turin hit the heights it was expected to reach all those years ago.
The Red Devils, along with Chelsea, Newcastle United and Liverpool, have been keeping tabs on the situation after expressing their interest in the Frenchman’s services. However, Rabiot does not intend to move to St. James’ Park, but he seems to be plotting to go back to France despite being intrigued by the three other English clubs.
Could Rabiot have been useful for Man Utd?
Even if the 27-year-old’s mother is trying to finalise a transfer to the French capital, a move is far from being finalised at this moment. That means we still have a shot at convincing Rabiot to join us if Erik ten Hag gives his approval on the matter.
The Serie A midfielder is in the final 12 months of his current contract with Massimiliano Allegri’s side, which makes him an attractive prospect indeed. After all, signing Rabiot may not be expensive if Juventus decide to sell him on a cut-price deal to prevent losing him for free in the future.
After all, Rabiot seems to be looking to leave the club, so keeping hold of him against his wishes could disrupt the squad harmony. Hence, one may argue that the Italian giants can be convinced to part ways with him in the summer transfer window.
Then again, it remains to be seen if we would target Rabiot at all, considering how Christian Eriksen has verbally agreed to move to Old Trafford this summer. We are also chasing after Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona, making Rabiot’s potential signing even more questionable.

Then again, we did lose four midfielders at once in the form of Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard in this transfer window. So perhaps Rabiot could find a role in our team but whether that will be the case or not remains to be seen in due time.
