Transfer News: Manchester United make an offer to Leeds United for Raphinha
According to the Spanish media outlet Sport (h/t The Express), Manchester United have proposed an offer to Leeds United to sign Raphinha, who is a transfer target for Barcelona. The former are in the market for a forward addition, and they have turned their attention towards the winger this summer.
The Brazilian international is currently valued at a fee in the region of £55.7million at this moment. Man United have made a bid for his services, but the exact sum is unknown right now. However, they have offered a higher amount than Barca, who are going through a financially-stricken situation.
Despite that, Xavi Hernandez’s side is in the pole position to finalise a move for the 25-year-old ahead of the next season. Raphinha’s agent, Deco, is working hard to ensure that his client moves to Camp Nou this summer which is a blow for the Red Devils indeed.
Raphinha, perfect signing for Man Utd?
We are desperate for reinforcements in the right-wing position, considering how we lack a dependable option in that role. Following Mason Greenwood’s indefinite suspension and Jadon Sancho’s conversion to the left-hand side of the attack, we are left short-handed in that area.

Raphinha would massively boost our attacking quality as his ability to get past opponents with ease, coupled with his knack for providing teammates with clear-cut chances, could be useful in feeding Cristiano Ronaldo with opportunities in the box.
