Manchester United offered the opportunity to land Juventus star Paulo Dybala
According to 90min (h/t The Express), Manchester United and Liverpool are among a cluster of clubs who have been offered the services of Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala. He looks to be on the way out of Allianz Stadium following the disagreement with the club’s hierarchy.
Dybala will see his current deal with the Bianconeri expire at the end of this season. He was in line to renew his contract, but they backtracked on the terms as a result of their financial issues. He could engage in pre-contract agreement talks with clubs outside Italy with the Reds close to putting their first offer to him.
The 29-year-old’s agent has offered his client’s services to Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan. Among them, the former trio has registered their interest in signing him, which could potentially lead to a heavily contested battle in the coming months.
Summer signing?
The prospect of signing the Argentinian is exciting to think about, considering the huge boost of quality that he would bring to our squad. Moreover, getting him on a free would free up funds to strengthen other areas of the squad. As things stand, the Man United squad is rather devoid of a core playing XI.
The interest from all four Premier League clubs is enough of a reason to prove the Serie A star’s worth if there are any doubts about it. Moreover, his 11 goals and four assists from 23 appearances this season across all competitions has carried a Juve team that has stagnated over the years.
The one concerning aspect of a potential move would be the Juve ace’s lack of chemistry with Cristiano Ronaldo during their time together in Turin. Then again, it could also be down to the problems that the Italian club went through in recent years. However, we could get them clicking under the guidance of a proper tactician ahead of the 2022-23 season.
