Transfer News: Manchester United face a huge blow in the pursuit of Marcelo Brozović
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (h/t Sportwitness), a talk for a possible renewal deal took place between the representatives of Manchester United target Marcelo Brozović and Inter Milan.
Marcelo Brozović has become a sensational performer for Inter. Under former boss Antonio Conte he showed impeccable growth and consistency. He was a key performer for the Inter Milan squad that won the Scudetto last season. His reliability and expertise in the critical midfield region have attracted eyes from some big European clubs in recent times.
Despite serving his final year, the 29-year-old player is yet to pen down any new deal. It seems Brozović was committed to a future in the San Siro if he received a suitable renewal deal. But Nerazzurri’s failure to table such a deal has only made the possible buyers more attentive to the situation.
But the situation has taken a turn as the Seria A team are keen on making him a deal that would create the ”right conditions” for the player to stay. It is believed that the first meeting to achieve such results took place recently, and the results are positive for La Beneamata. It seems the meeting ended with a ”mutual feeling that there is room for a renewal.”
