Jurgen Klopp compares Mohamed Salah to Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo

According to The Mirror, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has compared Mohamed Salah to Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Liverpool boss believes the 29-year-old can perform at the highest levels for years to come. Having managed the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Klopp is well versed to make a judgement on the abilities of his players.

Salah has in recent months taken his game to a higher level. He continues to make a mockery of opposing defences and is a consistent scorer. This has seen him included in the conversation for the best player in the world.

Both Ronaldo and Salah will face off this Sunday when Liverpool travel to Old Trafford to take on United. It will be a duel that fans were denied in the 2018 Champions League final thanks to Sergio Ramos.

Klopp believes Salah keeps working on his game and will only get better. The continued urge to get better is reminiscent of Ronaldo and the German manager claimed that the Egyptian international’s commitment and dedication to the game is at par with his Man United counterpart.

“He is constantly interested in all the things he can do and has to do to keep or improve his standard.”

Salah is a world-class footballer for Liverpool.

There is little we can argue against Salah’s ability as a footballer. The Egyptian has consistently shown off his class and is certainly amongst the world’s best.

He does however have a long way to go before equalling the standards that Ronaldo has set. The Portuguese sensation isn’t just the best of his era but amongst the greatest to ever play the game.
