Paris Saint-Germain eye move for Borussia Dortmund ace Erling Haaland amidst links to Manchester United
The 21-year-old talent has caused fear across most clubs in the Bundesliga by his goal-scoring feats as he has already knocked 70 goals in 68 games for the German club in the last year and a half.
The youngster is also a huge reason why Dortmund are sitting just a point off the top of the table this season. However, this may be the centre-forward’s last season at the Signal Iduna Park as several clubs are lining up a move for the striker next summer.
The Norwegian is said to have a £68million release clause in his contract and has attracted the interest of Manchester United.
The Red Devils are interested in procuring his services, and understandably so. Edinson Cavani is likely to leave at the end of his contract, and the same could be said for Jesse Lingard. Moreover, with Cristiano Ronaldo set to turn 37 next year, Haaland could become the long-term heir to the striker throne at Old Trafford.
Paris Saint-Germain to hijack United’s move for Haaland?
However, getting a deal over the line will be the hard part as PSG have also joined the race now and are said to have made him their No 1 target next summer.

Kylian Mbappe is likely to join Real Madrid, leaving the French outfit with the prospect of finding another forward. Robert Lewandowski has also been touted as an option for them, but Haaland is seemingly top of the list.
Nevertheless, the Manchester-based outfit will have to beat the competition and pay the release clause if they hope to see the 21-year-old in their famous red jersey at the start of next season.
