Manchester United ace Amad Diallo provides positive injury update

Speaking to the club’s official website (h/t The Metro), Manchester United ace Amad Diallo has revealed that he could return from injury to take part in full training soon.

The 18-year-old completed his move from Atalanta in January earlier this year and also went on to make crucial contributions in the club’s road to the UEFA Europa League final. All in all, Diallo made eight appearances in all competitions and also featured for the U-23s.

The winger missed out on pre-season as well due to his international duties with Ivory Coast. After returning from national duty, it was decided that the youngster would leave on loan and a move to Feyenoord was on the cards. However, a thigh injury derailed those plans, and the former Atalanta man stayed put at Old Trafford.

He is now nearing a return to action, and the young attacker has opened up on his injury and revealed when he could be back. Diallo told the United’s official website (h/t The Metro):

‘The injury is doing well, I think today is my last day of recovery, and I think, tomorrow, I’ll be ready. I should be training with the group. I hope to be ready for that training. It’s a nice feeling [to be back].

‘To tell you the truth, to be out for so long is not nice. When you’re out [with an injury], you feel like you’re wasting time [not being able to play]. But now obviously I’m back in, feeling happy, and I hope I won’t have any more injuries, and I hope to go on.’

Amad Diallo has revealed that he could soon make a return from his injury and return to full training for Manchester United.

More Manchester United News

There is no certainty that the Ivorian will be handed a squad role this season as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already possesses tons of attacking talent on the wings who would be on display as the Red Devils take on Leicester City this weekend.

Regardless, if he is available for selection, there could be some game-time for him, especially if the club lose crucial players to injuries over the course of the season.
