Opponent watch: Leicester City welcome back Kelechi Iheanacho from injury ahead of Manchester United game
According to his official Instagram account (h/t Manchester Evening News), Leicester City ace Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed that he has returned from injury ahead of facing Manchester United on Saturday.
The 25-year-old was called up for international duty with Nigeria after his impressive start to the season. The Leicester ace has already featured in 10 games for the club this season and has scored 3 goals and provided a further 2 assists in the same period.
However, there was an injury scare recently when he was substituted in the 34th minute during Nigeria’s game against Central African Republic.
The striker appeared to be injured after he took a shot on goal. While that was the case, he has now made his return, according to his latest post on his official Instagram account (h/t Manchester Evening News).
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. would remember the Nigerian certainly as he featured in Leicester’s 2-1 victory at Old Trafford at the end of last season. However, a more telling game was earlier last season when the two sides met in the FA Cup quarter-final.
The Foxes ran away 3-1 winners on the day, thanks to a brace by Iheanacho. Moreover, the King Power was one of the very few places the Red Devils failed to pick up points last season.

Regardless, Iheanacho’s return from injury will be a concern for Solskjaer as he looks to pick up his first league victory in three games.
