According to the latest transfer news on Spanish publication Fichajes (h/t Football 365), Manchester United are targeting moves for Olympiacos duo Mady Camara and Aguibou Camara.
The Red Devils are keen on strengthening their squad in all areas of the pitch, and although additions have been made in the frontline and defence in the last two seasons, but the midfield has not been bolstered beyond Donny van de Beek, who is out of favour in the current setup.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to bring in a central midfielder of his choice and has relied on the likes of Scott McTominay and Fred for the time being. Moves are being plotted for Declan Rice and Franck Kessie, but there is no certainty or guarantee that a deal will be completed for either player.
However, two new players have now been targeted by the club. Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara is one of those names after the midfielder’s incredible performances for the Greek club over the last two seasons. At 24, Mady makes a great prospect and could add a lot of quality to the ranks.
The second name on the list is his club and country compatriot Aguibou Camara. Only 20, Aguibou made the move to Olympiacos earlier this summer after being part of Lille’s title-winning squad last season. Still very young, he could become a mainstay at Old Trafford for years to come.
However, what makes them prime prospects is that neither player is said to cost above €8.5million, and a combined deal for the two can be done at lesser than €20million. Thus, they are certainly cheaper alternatives to add to the midfield strength of the Red Devils.

However, with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Atletico Madrid also interested in the Guinean duo, only time will tell whether the Manchester-based club can lure the two to Old Trafford.
