Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. arrives at the Manchester United academy
According to the Daily Star, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr was seen arriving at the Manchester United academy and was snapped alongside Nemanja Matic’s son.
Cristiano Ronaldo rejoined Manchester United earlier this summer from Juventus. The Portuguese made a dream second debut against Newcastle United on Saturday. He scored 2 goals as the Red Devils won 4-1 and went on top of the league table.
With Ronaldo returning to the club, his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, has linked up with the club’s academy. He is only 11 years old but made his mark when he played for the Juventus youth team.
He managed to score 58 goals in just 28 matches for the Italian club. The young lad made his debut soon after his 9th birthday and scored 4 goals on his debut for the Serie A team.
Ronaldo Jr would like to follow in his father’s footsteps and achieve big things. In an interview with DAZN (h/t Daily Star) during his time at Juventus, Ronaldo senior spoke about the footballing dreams of his son.
“He says he is going to be better [than me], but I think it’s difficult. He is playing for Juventus and adapting really well, it has been easier for him than for me.”

He is said to share a lot of traits with his father like skilful dribbling, confidence, an eye for goal, and superb technique on freekicks. Ronaldo Jr is also known for possessing unshakeable confidence just like his dad.
Manchester United will be hoping that Cristiano Jr can replicate the same form for them as he did with the Turin side. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr will be playing alongside Wayne Rooney’s son Kai. Both of them are in the same age group.
