It is believed that Manchester United and Liverpool are great admirers of the 24-year-old player. Inter have already had to offload Romelu Lukaku to balance the books this past summer. And, they would like to hold on to their talented midfielder.

Inter have Barella in their plans for the future and are looking to secure his services for a longer time at the club. The Italian club are willing to increase the player’s salary from €2.5m to over €4m.

They also promise to give him the captain’s armband after Samir Handanovic departs the club next summer.
Inter Milan managed to win the Serie A after a long wait. Many of the players like Lukaku, Barella, and Lautaro Martinez were an important part of the setup.
