Marcus Rashford has put across a pleasing message to Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo
According to a post on the official Instagram account of Cristiano Ronaldo (h/t Caught Offside), Marcus Rashford has delivered a lovely welcome message for the Manchester United legend.
The 36-year-old signed for the Old Trafford outfit on deadline day and completed a sensational return after leaving the club 12 years ago. The Portuguese, however, immediately jetted off to international duty.
Ronaldo went on to break more records during the international break as he became the player with the highest number of international goals after he netted twice against Ireland. However, the player was later booked for taking off his jersey, courtesy of which he will miss the nation’s next against Azerbaijan.
Thus, the 36-year-old was released by the national team, and the Portuguese came back to Manchester. However, he has had to isolate himself for five days due to the pandemic protocols of the Premier League.
The striker is enjoying his time in isolation with his family and also posted a fun picture on his Instagram account (h/t Caught Offside) recently saying: “Who said there was no sun in Manchester?”.
Although a lot of people replied to the post, it was Marcus Rashford’s message that caught the eye of most fans. The 24-year-old replied a delightful message saying (h/t Caught Offside): “You’ve brought the sunshine with you brother,” along with a heart emoticon.

It is clear that the 24-year-old is certainly pleased with the club legend returning back to the Theatre of Dreams. Rashford will, however, have to wait until he features alongside the great man as he recently underwent surgery and is yet to completely recover from it.
However, it was a nice gesture by the youngster, who will now place his focus on making as quick a return as possible to the United squad.
