Manchester United are eyeing up a move for Yves Bissouma
According to Team Talk, Manchester United have joined the race alongside Liverpool and Arsenal to sign Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.
The 24-year-old, who joined Brighton & Hove Albion in 2018 for a fee believed to be in the region of £15million, could now be on his way in a big-money move to one of the top clubs.
Although United have signed the likes of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and Raphael Varane from Real Madrid for a combined fee of over £100million, they are keen on signing a midfielder before the end of the month.
The Red Devils currently possess the likes of Donny van de Beek, Bruno Fernandes, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Fred, and Paul Pogba, which may not remain the case beyond this month.
PSG are said to be angling a move for Pogba this summer if Kylian Mbappe leaves the club while Donny van de Beek has also been linked could also leave Old Trafford. Additionally, even though it is not a primary issue for the club, Nemanja Matic’s contract will be up in two years. Thus, it would bode well for the Red Devils to add midfield reinforcements.
The Mali international has been an integral cog in the Brighton machine for the last three years, while the 24-year-old also featured 36 times in the Premier League for the Seagulls last year.

A very able central defensive midfielder, Bissouma can provide quality depth, while his experience in the Premier League will also be an admirable quality for the Manchester-based club.
While a fee for the player has not been mentioned yet, United would be completing a clever coup in the last days of the transfer window if they manage to get a deal over the line for the 24-year-old.
