Manchester United struggling to find buyers for midfield trio of Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Andreas Pereira
According to transfer news from Daily Star, Manchester United are struggling to find potential buyers for the midfield trio of Juan Mata, Andreas Pereira and Nemanja Matic. The players have slipped to the fringes of the first-team and the club are looking to move them on.
Juan Mata has been a decent servant for United since 2014. The diminutive playmaker is a quiet but friendly presence in the squad. He was handed a new one-year deal ahead of the season, which points to the fact that United are actually keen on keeping him.
Much like Mata, Nemanja Matic crossed the divide between Chelsea and served United well for the four seasons he has been at the club. However, he is also reaching veteran status and no longer features on a prominent basis for United.
The 25-year-old Andreas Pereira spent the previous season on loan at Lazio. While he did get to see a fair bit of action, his performances were far from impressive. Fenerbahce are said to have made a €25million bid for him.

Nonetheless, United are said to be keen on moving on the three midfielders as they eye one more signing for the midfield. It is likely to be hard to find takers from veteran players such as Matic and Mata but Pereira does seem lore sellable. United would do well to get as many names off their books as possible.
