Manchester United fans react to the official announcement regarding Raphael Varane
Manchester United have officially confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Real Madrid over the transfer of Raphael Varane.
As such, the deal is on the verge of completion pending the player’s medical and personal terms. It is fair to say that United have finally got their man, a decade after they were first alerted to his talents at Ligue 1 side Lens.
The Red Devils have known for a while that it is imperative to bring in a dependable partner for skipper Harry Maguire in defence. In Varane, we have not just done that but also landed one of the world’s best defenders.
With Jadon Sancho already secured, exciting times lie ahead for United fans. Whether the Red Devils will seek to make more moves in the market remains to be seen.
