Richarlison responds to Manchester United star Eric Bailly after Ivory Coast hold Brazil to Olympics draw

According to MEN, Richarlison responded to Manchester United star Eric Bailly after Ivory Coast held Brazil to a draw in the Olympics. Both sides failed to break the deadlock as Bailly’s side kept the much-fancied Brazil quiet for most of the 90 minutes.

Ivory Coast are done with their two group stage games, winning the first one against Saudi Arabia and drawing the next against Brazil. They still have Germany to play in the last game of Group D. A draw will be enough for them to progress to the next round.

Bailly gave a good account of himself against tournament favourites Brazil. Both sides struggled to break earth other down. In the end, both were left with 10 men as Douglas Luiz and Eboue Kouassi were sent off. The draw means that both sides are four points apiece after two games.

The Manchester United defender was rather impressive in keeping the Brazil frontline quiet and posted a picture on social media after the game. It had the caption, “Closer to our goals. Good work. Let’s stay focused on our objective.” Bailly’s opposite number Richarlison commented with a clapping emoji to applaud the defender’s efforts.
