Official: Manchester United team up with Renewable Energy Group

According to a press release from the club, Manchester United have announced their partnership with Renewable Energy Group. The club reiterated its commitment to a sustainable environment with shared ideas with the group. Both will now look towards a greener and cleaner future.

It is a season of change for Manchester United. From on the field to off it as well, there are significant changes coming and a few are already in place. United changed their kit logo sponsorship deal after the deal with Chevrolet ended. Now, a software company, Team Viewer will hold their name on our iconic strip.

Given the commercial appeal of United top companies have always associated themselves with us. Hence, Renewable Energy Group became the latest company to do so (h/t official site). REG are a dedicated renewable fuel supplier. They recycle waste and other by-products to produce sustainable fuel.

The new partnership will allow us to raise awareness about the products REG makes and how they help in keeping the environment safe. That will benefit so many people who associate themselves with the club and in turn, help usher in environmental change.
