Transfer News: Manchester United reject Inter Milan offer for Alex Telles
According to transfer news from SempreInter, Manchester United have rejected an offer for Alex Telles from Inter Milan. United are not prepared to consider the loan offer that Inter had proposed for the Brazilian. The Italian side wanted Telles to replace the departed Ashley Young.
There was a lot of excitement when United brought in Telles last season from Porto. After all, he seemed like a better attacking threat than the options already at the club. However, little did Telles or anyone else know that Luke Shaw would take this as a challenge and up his game to such an extent. The Brazilian found himself warming the benches more often than he would have liked as Shaw had one of his best-ever seasons.
It was only when Shaw was rested or was unavailable that Telles managed to get a rare game. Given his situation, interest has been rising in the defender this summer with Inter Milan keen.
Telles is not a new name for Inter Milan. The Brazilian left-back spent a season on loan at the club in 2015 during his time at Galatasaray. Now, they are keen to get him on loan with an option to buy him next season.
Ashley Young left the club and they are also facing the prospect of losing out on Ivan Perisic. However, United have declined any such loan offers. Inter don’t have the money for a permanent deal and United are not keen on a temporary move.

It would be an error if Telles is allowed to leave just after a solitary season at the club. The former Porto man is a decent player to have at hand given there are a large number of games to play in a season. United would do well to reject any such offers from or Roma.
