Solskjaer provides injury update on these four Manchester United stars

According to MEN, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided the latest injury update on these four Manchester United stars. Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have been away on holiday after the Euros. Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek are scheduled to return from their respective injuries.

Manchester United kicked off their season with a friendly against Derby County. However, Solskjaer was without a host of his first-team stars as a young and vibrant United side held on to a 2-1 win. The club have four more friendlies to face before they kick off their league campaign against Leeds United.

Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes were a part of France and Portugal’s squads. However, both sides got knocked out relatively early meaning that their three-week vacation is nearing its end. The star midfielders are not scheduled to return to the club for another week at least.

Martial has been out of action for a while now. An injury in March meant that he was forced to miss the rest of the season and also the Euros. Van de Beek suffered an injury right at the end of last season, thereby dropping out of the Netherlands squad.

Now, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update regarding the return of these players to action.

“They’re not ready yet. They’ll probably be 100 per cent training with us a week on Monday. They’re still working hard to step into the group. Fernandes and Pogba? It won’t be next week, no. The week after.”
