Transfer News: Manchester United want two more signings after Sancho and Varane
According to transfer news from Express, Manchester United are keen on two more signings after Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane. The club are looking to add a defensive midfielder and a right-back once they get the deals for those two over the line.
There’s a huge sense of optimism about the way United are going about their transfer business this season. Tom Heaton has been signed. Jadon Sancho’s medical is done. A deal for Raphael Varane is also in the works and should be done rather soon (h/t Express).
However, United will not wrap up their business there. They are likely to add two more names to bolster two key areas of the squad. A defensive midfielder is high on the agenda of United. Declan Rice and Houssem Aouar are said to be two names they are keeping an eye on.
Right-back is another position that the club are looking to add to. Kieran Trippier is being chased by United and the player is also keen on a return to England from Atletico Madrid. United are being patient about these deals and they are hoping to get the two deals done after Varane is signed.
